A global digital media and technology company that reaches millions of people worldwide is looking for a Software Engineer (React/Next.js) to join the Revenue Innovation team. This team is responsible for building innovative and custom advertising solutions for clients across our website — from banners and animations to AI-assisted chatbots.

The role is offered as an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. As part of the hiring process, candidates may be asked to complete a front-end coding challenge (previously, this involved building an interactive flipbook banner).

This position requires working remotely with partial overlap with New York (EST) business hours, ideally until 20:00 European Time, to ensure effective collaboration with the US-based team.

• Multiple years of front-end engineering experience, delivering high-quality solutions from existing designs and product requirements.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, React, and Next.js, with proven experience building large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with modern engineering workflows (Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience building banner ads and working with custom advertising solutions is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of AI agents development and chatbots is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., Copilot) is a plus.
• Any hands-on experience with AI-assisted features in advertising will be an advantage.
• This role requires working later in the day to overlap with New York (EST) business hours — ideally until 20:00 European Time.

• Execute custom advertising projects based on provided designs and requirements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to review design requirements and create innovative, business-driven solutions.
• Work on interactive ad formats such as banners, custom animations, and AI-assisted chatbots.
• Ensure that all projects are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
• Participate in code reviews, maintaining code quality across the team.
• Contribute to meeting deadlines and launching projects on time.
