We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team and contribute to an exciting project with our USA-based client — a publisher of news and information that empowers people to make better, more informed decisions about important issues affecting their lives. The client’s news portal is ranked among the Alexa Top 500 Global Sites.

The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented designer with at least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design. You should have strong expertise in Figma, the ability to work with complex design systems, and hands-on experience conducting user testing and analyzing analytics data to improve user experiences.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a product environment, collaborates effectively within Scrum/Agile teams, and can confidently present and defend design decisions. A proactive mindset, critical thinking, and empathy for users are essential to succeed in this role.

3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and methodologies.
Figma proficiency — professional use for creating components, prototypes, and layouts within an existing design system.
Experience working with complex design systems.
Hands-on experience with user testing and analyzing research results.
Ability to work with analytics — interpreting metrics, analyzing survey results and heatmaps, and applying insights to improve user experience.
Proven product experience — collaboration with product teams in Scrum/Agile environments.
Nice to have: Understanding and experience with Material UI.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with distributed teams; English level B2+.
Ability to present and justify design solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Critical thinking and eagerness to continuously learn and improve.
Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
Empathy for users and the ability to view the product from their perspective.
Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to articulate design process and present case studies of work
Have a portfolio with case studies of work to share
Experience with design AI tools will be a plus
Ability to create design prototyping will be a plus

Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define product strategy and translate requirements into intuitive design solutions.
Control the quality of implemented designs, ensuring consistency with the design system and a high standard of user experience.
Be an integral member of a fast-paced, growing UX team, contributing to team goals and fostering a culture of design excellence.
Deliver elegant, user-centered design solutions that address complex business challenges while maintaining usability and accessibility standards.
Create prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity layouts to communicate design concepts effectively.
Conduct user testing and analyze feedback to validate ideas and continuously improve the product.
Contribute to the evolution of the design system by creating scalable components and guidelines.
