We are looking for a skilled PHP Backend Developer to support our team in developing, implementing, and maintaining a Loyalty System for an e-commerce platform specializing in outdoor gear and adventure equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or Magento), solid MySQL skills, and API development experience. This role is perfect for a proactive, independent developer who takes ownership of tasks and delivers efficiently.

• 5+ years of experience in PHP 7+ (with experience in Laravel, Symfony, or Magento)
• Proficiency in MySQL (PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Experience with API development and integrations
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload efficiently
• Must be based in the EU due to GDPR compliance
• Understanding of scalable architectures and best practices in API development

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Loyalty System for an e-commerce platform.
• Learn and work with OXID eShop as part of the platform’s technical stack
• Optimize backend processes to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Participate in project discussions, decision-making, and technical planning.
• Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality software solutions.
